A few Frequently Asked Questions. If the question on your mind isn’t here, don’t hesitate to drop us a line at atcaa.org.webmaster@gmail.com.

How can I get help with my energy/propane/rent/groceries/childcare?

Since you’re online already, start with our Programs page. That will give you a lead on where to go and who to talk to about your situation (hit “Contact” on each page and it will take you to information for the contact person of that department). If that doesn’t do it for you, give the ATCAA front desk a call: 209-223-1485, if you’re in Amador or Calaveras Counties, and 209-533-1397 if you’re in Tuolumne County.

I know someone who’s in trouble. Can you help me help them? What should I do?

If the situation is immediately life-threatening, dial 911. If you’re worried about someone, but you don’t think they’re in immediate danger, call the Crisis Line at 209-588-9528. It’s available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and your call is always free and confidential.

What are your hours? Where are you located?

Kindly head over to our Office Info page, where you can find the answers to these questions and more!

I‘d like to know more about your agency. How did you get started? How long have you been around?

Please visit our Peek Inside section, where you’ll find A Bit of ATCAA History. We think the history of Community Action Agencies is interesting, too, so check that out, if you have a minute.

How can I keep up with ATCAA’s current happenings?

That’s easy! Read the ATCAA Blog!
