ATCAA is always looking for folks to come down and help out. A few exciting opportunities:

The Food Bank has a huge, energetic team of volunteers, helping to do everything from sort food, engage community members during food drives, pick up and drop off food to local distribution centers, and take part in the most powerful kind of outreach there is: sharing their experiences volunteering at the Food Bank with others. If you'd like to join the crew, give Food Bank Director Lee Kimball a call at 209-984-3960, ext 102, or drop her a line at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . There's never a dull moment at the ATCAA Jamestown Food Bank!

Looking for a more one-on-one approach? ATCAA's Mentoring Works Program is always seeking out new mentors. This rewarding opportunity to build a relationship with youth in our community benefits not only the young people being mentored, but invariably affects the mentor as well. Program coordinator Elena Linehan will tell you that often the mentors feel the immediate benefit of working closely with the mentees even before the kids do! The program offers a variety of group activities, as well as suggestions for good one-one-one projects as well. If the sound of all that intrigues you, give Elena a call at 209-533-1397, ext 229, or send her an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. If you're still looking for a way to spend some time helping out the folks in your community, give us a call and we'll let you know what opportunities have just popped up: in Tuolumne County, call 209-533-1397 and Pam will be happy to let you know what's going on; in Amador, Cathy's waiting to hear from you at 209-223-1485.

We look forward to seeing you!

Pocket change? Coins rolling around the floor of your car? Pennies lost in couch cushions?

There are a lot of ways you can help in your community, from sorting food down at the Food Bank to gathering up the unsold toys from the neighborhood yard sale and dropping them off for the kids at the shelter. Some of these things take more time than others, and we understand that no one has much time to spare these days.

If you've been looking for a way to help out but it's not a good time for you to dust off your old stamp books and teach a class at Summerville Community Center on your passion for stamp collecting - we understand. If you're still itching to do something this season, please take this opportunity to donate to ATCAA.

Donate via PayPal

We know that every dollar you give is tremendously generous, and we pledge to stretch it as far as it will go! If you'd like to keep up with what we're doing, visit us online anytime. You can always check the ATCAA blog or the Pressroom to see what's going on.

Thank you so much for donating (or even for thinking about donating)! We appreciate your dedication to your community and your investment in our collective future.
