Energy/Weatherization Department staff!

Program Description

ATCAA’s Home Energy Program provides low-income residents in Tuolumne, Calaveras, and Amador Counties with utility bill payment assistance, energy-saving home improvements such as weather stripping, insulation and appliances, as well as education on reducing energy costs and budget counseling. In 2011, 283 homes were weatherized in Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties, and a total of 1,718 homes were assisted with utility payments.

2012 Eligibility Requirements

Please note that the below figures represent guidelines, not guarantees. Clients will not receive benefits until they have applied for and been processed through the Energy and Weatherization Department. For households with more than six members, or for any other information, contact the Energy Coordinator below.

Household size: 1; income: no more than $2,045.34/month.
Household size: 2; income: no more than $2,674.67/month.
Household size: 3; income: no more than $3,304.01/month.
Household size: 4; income: no more than $3,933.34/month.
Household size: 5; income: no more than $4,562.67/month.
Household size: 6; income: no more than $5,192.01/month.
