Head Start changes lives in Amador and Tuolumne County every day.

Every day you see the truth of that statement. Right now the National Head Start Association is unrolling the “Keep the Window Open” campaign to raise national awareness about the power of Head Start to be a Window of Opportunity for children in vulnerable circumstances. More children are added to waiting lists every day. We must all work together to keep the window open for the next generation of Americans.

As part of the Window campaign we’re inviting Head Start parents, staff, volunteers, partners and alumni to share your stories about how Head Start has been a Window of Opportunity in your lives. You can watch many of them right now on the NHSA YouTube page (see the link below). We’re asking Head Start parents and community members to get involved!
